Had a great full English breakfast at Fountain Cottage today, the cafe itself is really nicely decorated and was exceptionally clean. Excellent menu at reasonable prices Staff were really friendly Would definitely make another visit Outside tables for when the weather is good.
Fantastic b&b , the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts the same. There is plenty of parking on site, great fir us, as we felt our motorcycles where safe overnight.
Brilliant cafe with delicious food, good prices, and big serving sizes! Dog friendly and able to cater to my partners coeliac gluten free dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent lunch on Easter Saturday with my family. The food was all delicious and menu varied. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. Look forward to returning in the near future

We loved our stay at Fountains Cottage. There is car parking on site and a warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was splendid and had everything we could have needed. The team are very helpful and I got the wrong impression that if we needed anything they would be very happy to help. Hareshaw Linn waterfall close by is absolutely wonderful, and the walk to see it is interesting too. And we have also loved visiting Kielder and the observatory.
Stayed here as we were at a brewery tour nearby and it was such a lovely night stay. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfy and brilliant shower. The breakfast options were fab and this was lovely and tasty. Service was personal and really friendly. Great value for money. Highly recommend
After a lovely walk to see the water fall at Hareshsaw Linn we found this wonderful cafe, doggy friendly too. Had an afternoon tea which was the best one we’d ever had. Staff were lovely too, told us about their doggy friendly room to stay in too. Can’t wait to come back
